Reports show that Mauritius was reigning at No1 for a couple of years with foreign investments topping $15.7bn in 2016-17 and $15.9bn in 2017-18, but Singapore regained top spot as India’s largest source of Foreign Direct Investment in the 2018-2019 financial year, with $16.2bn of foreign investment originating from the Lion City.
