Eni will be using the thermal battery that will be provided by EnergyNest that has designed the battery to reduce CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions and the use of fossil fuels thus increasing the use of renewable energy through flexibilization pf power plants. The battery will be deployed in a project for generating renewable steam at the location of Sicily that is the Italian oils and gas major site.
