The event prides itself on being one of the leading start-up events in the world. The start-ups can apply from any sector, presenting viable technologies and business models. Industries that are favored are those from health, climate and automation.
In a statement, Zurich has set out to find those with ground-breaking ideas that can make a lasting impact on the world.
The competition is part of our mission to help customers become more sustainable and resilient, while fostering the growth of start-ups that bring innovative new approaches to that work, said Giovanni Giuliani, Group Head of Strategy, Innovation, and Business Development, Zurich.
Sumeet Bhatia, Head of Innovation for Zurich North America, added,
“This is an exciting way to connect with the best and the brightest start-ups that align with our strategy and help us augment our innovation capabilities.”
