2019 has been an eventful year, especially when it comes to celebrity real estate. Buying and selling a lot of money has passed hands, here are the 8 biggest transactions of 2019.

8. $27 million

Bruce Willis & wife Emma Willis sold their Asian-inspired Turks and Caicos compound for $27 million in July. Sotheby’s International Realty reports this in the second most expensive home sale for real estate in the country’s history. The property consists of 13,500-square-foot, 5 bedrooms in the main house a yoga pavilion and two guest casitas.

7. $29.5 million

Lindsey Buckingham former Fleetwood Mac guitarist sold his French-inspired mansion for $29.5 million. The 10,000-square-foot home was custom built with the help of interior designer Kristen Messner, in 2007. The property features eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and a two-story tower with its own spiral staircase.

6. $31 million

In June NBA star Stephen Curry purchased a three-story mansion in Atherton, California making it the most expensive 2019 home purchase in the Bay Area. The property also has a separate guesthouse poolside cabana, and a separate three-car garage.

Tommy Hilfiger finally sold his Manhattan penthouse in the Plaza Hotel in September after having it on the market for over a decade. The four-bedroom penthouse features many unique design details including its own turret adorned with a wall mural of children’s book character Eloise, hand-painted the creator Hilary Knight.
